Special Board Meeting

July 22, 2004

7:00 P.M.

 

The July 22, 2004 Special Board Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Anderson at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  Present were Supervisor Anderson, Trustees Manser, and Kupar, and Clerk Johansen.  Trustee Judy arrived at 7:10 p.m.  Trustee Gillen was absent. 

Review and Act Upon the Committee Referral Procedures:  R. Manser moved the Board amend the Agenda to remove item three (Review and Act Upon Committee Referral Procedures).  J. Kupar seconded the motion.  On a voice vote Supervisor Anderson and Trustees Manser and Kupar voted aye.  Trustee Judy had not yet arrived.  Trustee Gillen was absent.  The motion passed. 

Executive Session:  R. Manser moved the Board go into Executive Session for the purpose of land acquisition and invite Township Attorney Noble, Township Administrator Glas, Peter J. Brennan, Barb Wojnicki, Kane County Board Representative, and Open Space Committee members Mike Tyrrell and Denise Morgan into Executive Session.  The motion was seconded by J. Kupar.  On a roll call vote Supervisor Anderson and Trustees Manser and Kupar voted aye.  Trustee Judy had not yet arrived.  Trustee Gillen was absent.  The motion passed.

Adjournment:  Supervisor Anderson reconvened the regular session.  R. Manser moved the Board adjourn.  J. Kupar seconded the motion.  On a voice vote Supervisor Anderson and Trustees Manser, Judy, and Kupar voted aye.  Trustee Gillen was absent.  The motion passed and the Board adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
