Dear Kane County Board:
Please be advised that the Campton Township Board of Trustees passed a motion during their regularly scheduled meeting on August 14, 2001 that reads:
That a moratorium be placed on the review and approval of all new residential development not yet in the concept stage in Campton Township. This moratorium will be in effect for one year. The effective enactment of this moratorium will be October 1, 2001.
That Kane County under-take a comprehensive water resource evaluation in Campton Township. This water resource evaluation will identify and quantify existing water resources in all water bearing units within the township that are currently used or projected to be used for drinking water.
That future approval of residential development within the township will be based, in part, on the ability of the existing water resource and projected water resource to sustain such development.
Sincerely,
Neal Anderson, Supervisor

Richard Johansen, Clerk
Donna Gillen, Trustee
