2023 Assessments Now Available in Assessor's Property Search Online DatabaseAll Assessment Changes Are Published in the Elburn Herald's August 18th Edition |

| The Kane County Supervisor of Assessments, as part of the 2023 General Reassessment Year, has published all 2023 assessment changes in the Elburn Herald's August 17th edition. All property owners will also receive a Notice of Revised Assessment mailed by the County. By State law, our work for the 2023 General Reassessment Year is based on the prior three years' worth of sales, that is, sales from 2020, 2021, and 2022. Again by State law, for the 2023 General Reassessment Year we have placed all properties at their assessed value as of January 1st, 2023. The August 17th publication of all assessment changes in the Elburn Herald commenced the annual 30-day property assessment appeal filing period with the Kane County of Board of Review (BOR). The deadline for filing 2023 assessment appeals for Campton Township with the BOR is September 18th, 2023. Please note that if you have any concerns about your assessment, our Township Assessor's Office should be your first contact - the Township Assessor and his staff are happy to discuss your assessment with you, resolve any problems, and answer any questions that you might have. |
Also note that all 2023 assessments are still subject to further equalization by the Kane County Board of Review and the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.
