2024 Assessments Now Available in Assessor's Property Search Online Database

All Assessment Changes Are Published in the Kane County Chronicle's and the Elburn Herald's August 29th Editions

The Kane County Supervisor of Assessments, has published all 2024 assessment changes in the Kane County Chronicle's and the Elburn Herald's August 29th editions.

All properties with 2024 assessment changes for reasons other than the Annual Equalization Factor will also receive a Notice of Revised Assessment mailed by the County.

By State law, our 2024 assessments are based on the prior three years' worth of sales, that is, sales from 2021, 2022, and 2023. Based on these sales, the 2024 Annual Equalization Factor issued by Kane County for Campton Township is 1.1185 (that is, +11.85%).

The August 29th publication of all assessment changes in the Kane County Chronicle and the Elburn Herald commences the annual 30-day property assessment appeal filing period with the Kane County of Board of Review (BOR). The deadline for filing 2024 assessment appeals for Campton Township with the BOR is September 30th, 2024.

Please note that if you have any concerns about your assessment, our Township Assessor's Office should be your first contact - the Township Assessor and his staff are happy to discuss your assessment with you, resolve any problems, and answer any questions that you might have.

Also note that all 2024 assessments are still subject to further equalization by the Kane County Board of Review and the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.
