Community Center Open for Reservations

The Campton Township Community Center is open for reservations by the public. It's a great space to hold public or private meetings, assemblies, or private events. HOWEVER, all such reservations require signing and filing our Community Center Meeting Room Rental Form, as well as agreeing to and abiding by our Community Center Meeting Room Policy.

Campton Township Highway District's Inter-Governmental Agreement Renewed With Village of Campton Hills

After three months of negotiation, the Campton Township Highway District and the Village of Campton Hills have agreed on a (MODIFIED) renewal of our Inter-Governmental Agreement. As a result, the Campton Township Highway District will maintain, repair, and perform snow plowing on all Village of Campton Hills roads for the next five years. Historic Campton Town Hall Reopened for Public ViewingCall Us to Reserve A Viewing Appointment For You or Your Group

Restoration partially funded by a Kane County Riverboat Fund grant on the foundation, exterior, and interior of the historic 1874 Campton Township Town Hall has been completed. Volunteers have created educational exhibits for school groups, civic organizations, and interested citizens. At this time the building will be open, by appointment only, with 24 hour advance notice. Interested visitors should contact Campton Township, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, at 630-387-1016. |
The Township is looking for volunteer docents to staff Town Hall. They are also asking residents who may have historical items or photographs that would be pertinent to the history of Campton Township or Kane County to contact the Township.

"Citizen's Guide to Preserving the Fox River" - Available FREE at the Township Office at Lily Lake

The Conservation Foundation has released its "Citizens Guide to Preserving the Fox River." Copies are free to the public at the Township's office at Lily Lake. The new guide is packed with information on how you can help preserve the Fox River and environs, as well as activies and special places you can enjoy on the Fox. Township Supervisor's Office Has Moved to New Location
|
The Township Supervisor's Office has moved to its new home on the second floor of the Village of Lily Lake building, 43W870 Empire Rd. St. Charles IL 60175. The Town Board has approved necessary foundation repairs to Campton's historic Town Hall, as well as other needed work. The Supervisor's Office hours (including General Assistance) will be by appointment only at the new location. Note that the Township Supervisor's Office's mailing address remains the same. USGS Study on Campton Township Water Resources CompletedCampton is First Township in Nation to Perform Study of this Type |

With concerns about water supplies being over-burdened by growth throughout Kane County, Campton Township's Board of Trustees has taken the proactive step of commissioning and its own water resources study. The USGS Campton Water Resources Study is now completed. In collaboration with the U.S. Geological Survey, wells and water sources throughout our Township have been measured and analyzed. The USGS has informed Township officials that Campton is the first township in the nation to initiate a comprehensive water study of this kind. Results of the water resources study will be used by the Campton Township Board and the Township's Planning Commission in managing growth and water resource issues. with this important project, which will provide vital information for charting our community's future.
